Sometimes it’s about making change in your job to make it work better for you. We help with that too.

Sustainable career transitions rely on the following four principles:

  1. Think outside the box. If you are ready for change, possibilities are endless. If not, thinking about where you want to be can help you get there.
  2. Explore the best role for you. This is important whether you join a new team or work independently. If you join a team, do you want to want to coordinate, connect or lead? Or if you go off on your own, identifying your working style will save a lot of time and frustration in the long run. This will clarify what tasks you will do on your own and where you would benefit from additional resources or support.
  3. Find for the best work environment match. As your toddler may already know, you can’t put a square peg in a round hole. Why try to do that with your job? Learn how to assess organizational culture and determine which environments will be comfortable for you in the long term.
  4. Figure out your flexibility quota. Conduct a needs assessment to figure out what flexibility you are looking for. Do you want to resume work? Do you want the ability to work from home on your own schedule? Do you want to work part-time? On a consulting basis? We find the best solution for you and address the practical implications of this choice (e.g. loss of income, day-care options). We also look develop strategies for proposing and implementing flexible work arrangements with your current or future employer.
