Conducted across a couple of business units, the survey helped leaders measure extreme jobs and use the study findings as a lens to think about work-life balance within American Express. Jhumur was also instrumental in developing a proposal titled ‘From researching “Extreme” Jobs to practicing Workplace Flexibility and Work-Life Balance’ on behalf of American Express that was selected for presentation at the national conference organized by Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology in 2009.
Outside of work, Jhumur loves to spend time with her husband and daughter, close friends, and relatives. She loves to travel in and outside the US, mostly to see family. Her role in Reworking Parents is evidence of her commitment to achieve client success through a quest for balance in their personal and professional lives.
